Position Summary

The E-commerce Manager oversees and manages the day to day operation of the ecommerce department and is responsible for the Profit and Loss of  Securis’s e-commerce channel. 


  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the E-commerce department within the larger context of overall technology sales.
  • Responsible for the analysis, procurement and implementation of any processes that will increase the channel’s profit margin.
  • Working with the VP of Technology Sales, optimize equipment sales to produce the greatest benefit to Securis.
  • Broaden both products being offered for resale on oue e-commerce platforms and the number of buyers willing to purchase them.
  • Analyze market trends for new opportunities and outlets for our products, including new sales platforms and marketing  strategies to improve traffic and product turnover.
  • Responsible for successful delivery of department revenue and manages margins in order to meet or exceed monthly projections.


4-6 years of experience successfully managing an e-commerce sales business with its own profit and loss statement.


BA or BS in Business or related field

Skills Required

  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead small groups (fewer than 6 people) and have them work cohesively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Communication: Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, as well as the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of our organization.
  • Analysis: Identify and analyze complex metrics such as cost benefit analysis, and perform market research.  Must be able to identify data to create actionable information to improve the department's operation.
  • Problem Solving: Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of word processing software; spreadsheet software, internet software and e-commerce sites.
